Mileage rates
The following information is subject to change and is regulated and controlled by the Mendip District Council. The fares and charges listed below can also be found on this page.
Whilst CJW Taxis will regular review and update our site, the aforementioned page will always take precedence. The rates displayed below cannot be applied to airport transfers or pre-arranged/booked journeys. Please note that the rates laid out in the table below apply even if we choose to send a larger vehicle to collect only two people. On occasion we may send a larger vehicle than required but the cost would not increase unless you exceed four passengers (that of a standard car) on the journey. It is important to advise us on the number of passengers so that we can send the most appropriate vehicle.
- 1 - 4 passengers = Rate 1 before 2300 and Rate 2 after.
- 5 - 8 passengers = Rate 2 before 2300 and Rate 3 after.

Extras
- For soiling (including but not limited to vomiting, urinating, defecating or spilling food/drink) will be liable to a charge of up to £100 at the drivers discretion.
- If the journey is subject to tolls or congestion charges, a charge not exceeding charges incurred whilst conveying passengers may be passed on to the hirer.
